If you haven’t been following the latest NCAA Football 10 news, here’s some info to keep in mind with rosters for the game:

- An incorrect roster file ended up on the TeamBuilder site and the final disc of the game.  Once you get NCAA Football 10, visit the EA Locker to download the correct roster file from EA Sports.  This file will be unnamed.

- EA is going to have a file ready to go at launch for both PS3 and 360 through EA Locker. Once they have the file up and ready to go the gamertag/PSN ID will be released so we can start getting the file spread out.  That will allow people to start their Dynasties and Road to Glory with the updated roster. They will include the roster update in a patch that we will get out as soon as possible (has to go through certification to get a patch released, it does take some time). No current date on when the patch will be released yet, but the top priority is to get the patch out as soon as they can.

- Once freecollegerosters.com receives a copy of the game, we will begin work on our accurate and free rosters!  The sooner we get the game, the earlier we can get started.

- Once completed, we will post our named rosters into the EA Locker.  At that time, we will post detailed instructions on how to get the rosters here on the site.

Thanks to the hard work of the NCAA Basketball community, rosters are now available for both the PlayStation 3 and X-Box 360.  Read below on how to attain the file you need.  (Keep in mind that due to an overzealous list of ‘offensive’ terms, a full file cannot be posted publicly in the EA Locker.  However, gamers can download the file from anyone in their friends list who may have the file.) Each link contains instructions on how to download and/or attain the rosters.

PS3 Users: Add ncaaStrategies to your friends list in order to get the rosters from their EA Locker.  Every player is named, missing coaches have been named, some appearances edited, and no ratings have been changed.

360 Users:  Add OperationSports to your friends list in order to get the rosters from their EA Locker.  Names and personal attributes have been edited, but not ratings.

Due to overwhelming request, here is how to get rosters for NCAA Football 09 via the EA Locker.

1. Make sure your console is connected to the PlayStation Network or X-Box Live.
2. Fire up NCAA Football 09.  Once loaded, hit Start when prompted.
3. Select ONLINE, then EA LOCKER, and DOWNLOAD ROSTER.
4. If one of your friends has rosters, select and then click on their name to download.
5. If not, click ENTER ONLINE ID and type in:
[PS3] ncaaStrategies
[360] Coming soon
6. Select YES and wait for the file to download.
7. Type in the name you want the roster file to be saved as.  We recommend ‘Utopia’
8. Restart your system.

* Keep in mind that the roster file was created mainly before the roster issue patch was released.  If you edit or create too many players, the file will become corrupt.
This roster file is ideal for gamers who only want players accurately named and no edits made. *

Complete rosters for the PS3 version of NCAA Football 09 are now available.

To download them from the EA Locker, search for rosters in the following lockers:

- cdj

Only names have been added, no ratings or player equipment changed. File created by 21SEC and cdj.

At this time, it is unknown what issues may exist with the file. It is recommended that people avoid editing (or creating) an excessive number of players, unless it is done within a Dynasty.

All teams are named except Arkansas State, Idaho, Utah State, and Western Kentucky. You can name One one of those teams if you so desire without any glitching problems. However, if you edit more than one of them then that’s when glitches happen. If my roster is still usable post-patch I’ll name these 4 and get a new file up.
